What Analytics Are Currently Available

Ken Send currently tracks:

  • Sends - Total emails delivered

  • Opens - When recipients open your emails

  • Replies - When recipients respond to your campaigns

We're actively developing native click tracking, but it's not available yet. In the meantime, we have a solution that lets you track clicks using a platform called Short.io.

What Is Short.io?

Short.io is a link management platform that provides detailed analytics for every link in your campaigns. With Short.io, you can see:

  • Total clicks on your links

  • Human clicks (automatically filtered from bot clicks)

  • Click analytics by campaign

  • Additional AI-powered insights

Our team will automatically create shortened links on your custom domain for every link in your campaigns, allowing you to track engagement while maintaining a professional appearance.

Getting Started

When you onboard with Ken Send, you'll automatically receive an invitation to join our Short.io enterprise organization.

If you don't receive the invite or need a new one, just reach out to our team via the chat button in this help center or email us.

Step 1: Accept Your Short.io Invitation

  1. Check your email for the Short.io invitation

  2. Click the link to create your account

  3. Join our enterprise organization

Step 2: Add Your Primary Domain

Once you're in Short.io:

  1. Click on "Add Domain"

  2. Enter your primary domain (the domain your website uses - for example: yourcompany.com)

  3. Choose a subdomain for your short links

Choosing Your Subdomain

You'll need to pick a subdomain that will be used for all your shortened links. Common options include:

  • link.yourcompany.com

  • go.yourcompany.com

  • track.yourcompany.com

  • click.yourcompany.com

Choose something that sounds natural and professional. This will appear in the links you send to prospects.

Step 3: Configure DNS Settings

After adding your domain in Short.io, you'll need to set up a CNAME record with your domain registrar. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your domain registrar (this is where you purchased your domain - GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.)

  2. Find your DNS settings (usually under "DNS Management" or "Domain Settings")

  3. Create a new CNAME record with these details:

    • Name/Host: Your chosen subdomain (e.g., "link")

    • Value/Points to: The destination provided by Short.io

    • TTL: Use the default or "Auto"

  4. Save your changes

Step 4: Verify Your Setup

  1. Wait a few minutes for the DNS changes to propagate

  2. Go back to Short.io

  3. Click the "Refresh" button next to your domain

  4. The setup notification should disappear once everything is verified

That's it! Your custom domain is now connected and ready to track clicks.

How It Works in Your Campaigns

Once your domain is set up, our team will automatically:

  • Convert every link in your campaigns to a short link on your custom domain

  • Track all clicks through Short.io

  • Provide you with analytics for each campaign

You don't need to do anything else - we handle the link creation automatically.

What's Next?

We're working on native click tracking that will show individual-level data (who clicked what) directly in Ken Send. This will give you even more detailed insights into prospect engagement.

Until then, Short.io provides comprehensive campaign-level analytics to help you measure link performance.
